About this Position The Plant Controlling Analyst plays a key role in ensuring accurate, reliable financial insight for plant operations. This position exists to help the business understand cost performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support informed decision-making through timely analysis and clear communication. By strengthening cost transparency and operational efficiency, the role directly supports the company's financial discipline and operational excellence. You will work closely with plant operations, finance partners, and stakeholders, serving as a trusted point of contact for performance insights and process improvements. The environment is collaborative and improvement-driven, offering opportunities to contribute to automation, digitalization, and continuous enhancement of controlling processes. Success in this role means delivering dependable financial insights, proactively solving problems, and helping the organization operate more efficiently through data-driven support.
What You´ll Do
- Deliver monthly and quarterly plant and cost controlling activities and financial information, validates data, and collaborate directly with counterparts in accordance with SLA
- Special analyses and/or ADHOC tasks required by stakeholders or assigned by the supervisor; Ability to create automation and digitalization projects/improvements
- Drive operational initiatives by identifying process improvement opportunities, initiating automation and digital solutions, and maintaining up-to-date process documentation
- Communicates with stakeholder for inquiries related to specific tasks. Creates root cause analysis and provide solutions
- Handles and completes assigned tasks by specific Strategic Pillar
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or any related courses
- At least three (3) years relevant experience in General Accounting, Controlling, or Audit
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Outlook); Knowledge in VBA, Macros, Power BI, and SAP scripting are required. Experience with data analytics and science is preferred
- Must have strong English communication (verbal & written), analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management skills and continuous improvement mindset; Should be customer and results-oriented
- Amenable to work on a dayshift schedule (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) and report on a hybrid work set-up in Ayala Avenue, Makati
