Job Description
The Construction Manager is responsible for leading and controlling all site construction activities for coal-fired thermal power plant projects, ensuring safe, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution. The role oversees construction of major plant systems including coal handling, boiler & auxiliaries, turbine-generator, balance of plant (BOP), ash handling, flue gas treatment systems, and switchyard, while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical). Master's Degree is an advantage.
- At least fifteen (15) years of hands-on experience in large industrial or power plant construction.
- At least eight (8) years in senior construction roles on coal-fired plant projects.
- Has proven experience working in EPC/EPCM environments for utility-scale plant projects.
