JOB SUMMARY:PLANNING AND TENDERwill be responsible for providing and reviewing bills of quantities and project schedules of all water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
FUNCTION AND KEY DUTIES:
- Shall lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Shall develop initial project schedules for the terms of reference in coordination with the project implementation division.
- Shall review all Bill of Quantities and Project Schedule produced by the division.
- Shall collaborate with the division in ensuring the overall material specification to be used in each project.
- Shall maintain up-to-date unit costs for all water and wastewater infrastructure, including but not limited to pipelines, treatment plants, appurtenances, source development, tanks, and other civil, structural, and electromechanical works in coordination with the procurement team.
- Shall lead and prepare tendering documents, including but not limited to schedules, BOQs, Employers Requirements, and other necessary annexes.
- Shall evaluate contractor and supplier proposals, assessing compliance with technical, cost, and schedule aspects, and provide recommendations for award.
QUALIFICATION(S):
- Graduate of BS Civil Engineering and/or other relevant Engineering Course. A professional license is a must.
- Preferably with 3 - 5 years of experience in Construction Project Management. Exposure to Water Utility is required.
- Experience in project tendering procedure is required.
- Accreditation to Quantity Surveying Association is an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Knowledge of quantity surveying and project scheduling software is an advantage.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required.
- Must possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, and dashboard/report creation.
- Knowledge of design software such as STAAD, ETABS, SketchUp, and/or Civil 3D is an advantage.
- Willing to be assigned in Makati HO and occasional site visits, if necessary.
