Key Responsibilities
Schedule Management: Build, update, and manage comprehensive project schedules utilizing industry-standard software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent platforms.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Perform routine risk analyses and recommend proactive mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and budget overruns.
Progress Tracking & Timeline Control: Monitor project milestones, critical paths, and resource allocations closely to ensure consistent on-time project delivery.
Performance Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports and technical documentation for management and external stakeholders, highlighting schedule performance and critical bottlenecks.
Resource Planning & Estimation: Support the estimation and strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and material requirements to ensure total alignment with project timelines.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to established project management standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder & Team Coordination: Liaise directly with engineers, contractors, clients, and internal project teams to gather operational data and integrate updates into the master plan.
Qualifications
Educational Background: Holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
Professional Experience: Possesses a minimum of 1 year of proven experience in project planning, with a strong preference for candidates from the construction and interior fit-out industries.
Required Skills And Competencies
Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in utilizing project management tools and scheduling platforms such as MS Project, Monday.com, Lark, or equivalent software.
Communication & Coordination: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to draft progress reports and coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Analytical & Diagnostic Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to continuously assess project workflows, track progress metrics, and proactively identify potential bottlenecks.
Problem-Solving & Corrective Action: Sharp problem-solving skills focused on detecting schedule slippages, troubleshooting timeline issues, and implementing swift corrective strategies.
Task Management & Execution: Demonstrated capability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization.
