Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Planning Business Process Expert and Capability Lead.
About the Role
As the Supply Chain Planning Business Process Expert & Capability Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, optimizing, and scaling best-in-class planning processes across our supply chain. Working at the intersection of process, systems, and people, you will lead the design and deployment of planning capabilities that enhance agility, service, and cost performance for our end-to-end value chain.
This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on enabling transformation and continuous improvement in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP/IBP, and related digital initiatives within our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Expertise
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for core supply chain planning processes, including demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and IBP.
- Design, standardize, and continuously improve planning processes aligned with business strategy and best practices.
- Collaborate with markets and business units to ensure effective adoption and localization where necessary.
- Lead root cause analyses and issue resolution for process-related planning challenges.
Capability Building & Enablement
- Develop and own the capability roadmap for supply chain planning, including tools, templates, learning paths, and process governance.
- Deliver training programs and change management initiatives to build planning excellence across teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the planning community.
Digital Transformation & Systems Integration
- Act as the business lead for the deployment and enhancement of advanced planning systems (e.g. SAP S/4 HANA, Blue Yonder, MRP).
- Ensure business requirements are clearly defined and translated into functional and technical specifications.
- Support improved efficiency, automation, AI/ML forecasting, and control tower / dashboard initiatives where relevant.
Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Partner closely with supply chain, IT, finance, and commercial functions to align on planning priorities and execution.
- Establish process KPIs and drive performance management frameworks to monitor planning effectiveness.
- Represent the planning function in cross-functional transformation programs and leadership forums.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within a multinational FMCG environment.
- Proven track record in business process design, capability building, and systems implementation.
- Expertise in planning tools and technologies (e.g., SAP, APO, Blue Yonder, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of S&OP/IBP, demand/supply planning, inventory optimization, and digital supply chain trends.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment with diverse cultural and market dynamics.
