Job Description

At Sem-Calaca Power Corporation, we drive the future of energy with a relentless focus on operational excellence, safety, and reliability. We are seeking a clinical, outcome-obsessed Planning and Scheduling Superintendent to spearhead all maintenance planning activities for our power plant.

Your primary mission is absolute asset optimization. You will oversee the predictive, preventive, corrective, and refurbishment maintenance lifecycles, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations while minimizing downtime.

Job Qualifications

Education & Licenses:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) or Registered Electrical Engineer

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of robust experience as a Planning Engineer
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Supervisory and Leadership role, specifically managing engineering teams

Functional Competencies:

  • Advanced Planning & Outage Management: Proven capability in reading historical data for outage detection, measuring shutdown efficiency, and managing project risk mitigation
  • Analytical & Technical Precision: Ability to utilize mathematical formulas to interpret technical data, identify equipment calibration trends, and drive data-driven engineering solutions
  • System Proficiency: Strong command of IT-based tools, maintenance management databases, and advanced application software for reporting and analysis

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Resource Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end planning, implementation, and tracking of preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities. Manage unit resources and execute strategies strictly within approved budgets
  • Advanced Asset Integrity: Conduct asset life-cycle costing, reliability modeling, and root cause failure analyses (RCFA) to optimize engineering equipment within safe manufacturer limits
  • Outage & Workflow Governance: Coordinate seamlessly with Outage Management, Operations, and Engineering teams. Track work order metrics, audit historical maintenance records, and secure supply chain visibility for critical spare parts
  • Leadership & Team Management: Direct, coach, and evaluate a high-performing team of Planning and Scheduling Engineers to ensure maximum engineering productivity and target achievement
  • EHS Advocacy: Enforce total compliance with environmental, health, and safety laws, ensuring all departmental protocols align with regulatory policies
