Spanish multinational is looking for a Planning and Cost Controller to join and their team in Shura Island.
Reporting directly to the Planning & Cost Control manager, some of the main tasks and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop together with the management the project planning, to have the baseline or reference for monitoring, both at the work and economic level.
- Develop the procedure for measuring and monitoring the progress of the project, ensuring compliance with the applicable methodology.
- Monitor project progress against the program baseline, detecting deviations and calculating completion dates of planned works.
- Define preventive and/or corrective actions taking into account contractor/subcontractor schedules.
- Collaborate with the construction and contracting teams in the realization of construction schedules, as well as in the elaboration and reporting of progress curves and project monitoring.
- Manage project changes, from a scheduling standpoint, to minimize their effect on the overall project schedule.
- Oversee and validate schedules made by third parties so that they meet the project objectives.
- Support the management team in updating the final cost estimate for the project.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Technical Architecture, Architecture or any other Engineering from the same field.
- 7 years of experience in similar functions.
- Fluent in English (C1 level or above).
- Resolute, organized, and dynamic person, who likes to work in a team.
- Tools: Planning (Primavera P6 or MS Project), ERP (Navision, Business Central...) and advanced Excel.
- Knowledge in management and control of construction projects: scope, planning, changes, purchases, negotiations, risks, stakeholders, etc.
- Strong communication skills, leadership and teamwork.
