As Planning and Business Process Manager, you will optimize organizational efficiency by aligning business processes with strategic objectives, fostering innovation, and managing performance. To drive continuous improvement, govern process documentation, and leverage data to enhance operational effectiveness. To act as a strategic, collaborative liaison that bridges internal functional expertise with specific business units to drive organizational performance, align people/operational strategies with business goals, and enhance partner relationships. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, performance monitoring, business process and improvement, auditing and business partnering and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with a cross functional team to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be To:
- Lead, maintain, and continuously improve the enterprise-wide Process Assurance program; develop audit master plans, and manage risk-based process audits to ensure conformance to internal processes, prescribed standards, and legal and regulatory requirements.
- Partner directly with BU and Group Heads to facilitate strategic planning and ideation sessions (Tier 2 and Tier 2.5 goals), and run regular Operations Committee and other executive meetings.
- Own the group's process architecture, guide end-to-end business process improvement (BPI) initiatives, and deliver targeted capability training to bridge operational gaps across assigned business units.
- Support the governance and implementation of enterprise frameworks for strategic planning, process standards, and project transitions.
To Succeed in this Role, we need someone who:
- Confidently collaborates with and influences BU and Group Heads, steering strategic planning sessions, ideation workshops, and executive meetings toward actionable outcomes.
- Enjoys guiding process owners through complex workflow design, helping teams simplify operations, manage process architecture, and embed continuous improvement practices.
- Possesses a keen eye for operational risk and capability gaps, using audit and process insights as opportunities to coach, train, and empower teams toward practical solutions.
- Applies operational rigor and a cross-functional perspective to champion process standards, structural alignment, and stage-gate readiness across strategic planning cycles and project transitions.
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any Engineering degree
- At least 5 years of combined experience in planning and business performance, business process management, program and project management, internal audit, certification/accreditation attainment, and, training facilitation
- At least 2 years of leadership (management) experience
- Has led/co-led at least 2 cross-functional projects/programs
- Has facilitated at least 1 training/workshop
- Willing to travel
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace Tools, ISO Standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS) Frameworks, Auditing Tools and Techniques
- Strong skills in Process Assurance, Planning and Performance Management, Business Process Optimization, Change Management and Capability Building
