Piping Designer (Aveva E3D)

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Piping Designer with either administrator role experience or actual design experience using Aveva E3D. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed piping design models using Aveva E3D software.
• Create and maintain accurate piping layouts, isometric drawings, and pipe support designs.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and verify existing conditions.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve design quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and company procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and bill of materials.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping design, with at least 3 years using Aveva E3D.
• Proficiency in Aveva E3D is mandatory; experience with other 3D design software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of piping materials, specifications, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
