The Medical City Iloilo is seeking a licensed, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective use of medications while supporting high-quality, patient-centered care across the institution.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review, prepare, and dispense medications accurately in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
Evaluate prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Provide medication counseling and education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
Monitor and report adverse drug reactions, medication errors, and safety concerns.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulatory standards, and hospital policies.
Maintain accurate documentation, inventory control, and proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
Participate in medication safety programs, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Uphold infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.

Qualifications
Must be a licensed Pharmacist with a valid PRC license.
Preferably with hospital or clinical pharmacy experience (fresh board passers are welcome to apply).
Knowledgeable in hospital pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory requirements.
Proficient in pharmacy information systems and electronic medical record systems.
Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
