PHP Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a PHP Developer with strong experience in WordPress and full-stack development, focused on building and maintaining shopping cart and e-commerce plugins across platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, OpenCart, and PrestaShop.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and secure web applications and plugins.
• Take end-to-end ownership of full-stack development and deliver production-ready code.
• Build and optimize shopping cart and payment integrations.
• Ensure system scalability, performance, reliability, and security best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/DevOps environment.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in PHP (7.x/8.x+) and WordPress (custom themes & plugin development).
• Hands-on experience in JavaScript / TypeScript / React.js.
• Experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Strong knowledge of REST / GraphQL APIs.
• Experience in building or integrating shopping cart / payment plugins (preferred).
• Good understanding of RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Jenkins/CloudBees, Kubernetes, Apigee, Rancher.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Shopify Polaris and React UI development.
• Knowledge of streaming technologies like Kafka or Spark.
• Understanding of modern software architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
