Job Description

The Compliance Analyst position is responsible for assisting in meeting regulatory and accreditation/certification and supporting contract administration activities including the management, administration, and tracking of all approved contracts. This is a non-clinical position located on site in the Philippines, available only to applicants residing in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert for ensuring compliance and privacy related questions contained in RFPs and customer due diligence questionnaires are responded to timely and accurately.
  • Ensure the privacy and compliance questionnaire knowledge library is periodically refreshed to ensure high quality, accurate responses are readily available.
  • Assists with planning and executing audits to meet client, regulatory, and accreditation requirements including preparing audit materials from different departments and tracking time for billing purposes.
  • Facilitates process for assuring that company policies and procedures are maintained and that appropriate processes to monitor and assure compliance are in place and effective. Manages, develops, administers and tracks all policies and procedures supports the Policy and Procedure Review Committee.
  • Maintains current knowledge of accreditation, regulatory compliance, security certification, and licensure requirements such URAC, NCQA, Registered Nurse licensing, WFA, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and other applicable regulations.
  • Tracks and manages ongoing state and federal regulatory reporting.
  • Conducts various internal compliance reviews, risk assessments, gap assessments or maturity assessments that will be used to enhance the compliance program and/or prepare for new and upcoming requirements.
  • Audits business practices across the organization isolate potential risks or liabilities and develop mitigation plans. Actively participates in audit activities in the organization.
  • Leads and supports various day to day privacy and compliance tasks and projects.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 3+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience with program management or Bachelors degree (in business, or a related field).
  • Experience and interest working in healthcare, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, URAC, NCQA and call centers is preferred.
  • This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to assist with complex projects.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are vital
