Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive specializing in new client acquisition, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. Operating as an expert individual contributor, you will build and grow Amplify's client base by driving outbound prospecting, networking, and proposal developmentdirectly impacting Amplify's expansion and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, prospect, and qualify new business leads through proactive research, networking, and direct outreach initiatives.
  • Initiate and manage the end-to-end sales process: pitching services, tailoring solutions, and presenting proposals to prospective clients.
  • Leverage knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Google, Meta, TikTok), influencer marketing, and industry trends to develop compelling acquisition strategies.
  • Develop a robust pipeline of potential clients and consistently achieve or exceed new business targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging opportunities and inform sales efforts.
  • Negotiate terms and secure contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and cultivating positive first engagements.
  • Maintain detailed records of engagement activities using CRM systems; provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
  • Frequently collaborate with internal teams (campaign, strategy, creative) to ensure seamless onboarding and client handovers.
  • Represent Amplify at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and generate new leads.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in new business development, digital marketing, or agency sales with a proven track record of new client wins.
  • Experience with digital platforms (TikTok, Google Ads, Meta,) and influencer/KOL marketing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to research markets, develop outbound strategies, and close deals independently.
  • Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and results-driven mindset.

Preferred

  • Agency background, managing multiple accounts and juggling competing priorities.
  • Data analysis abilities to inform targeting and acquisition strategies.
