Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to work directly with one of our clients in the pistachio farming and agriculture industry.

This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with a U.S.-based team.

The position will be approximately 80% Accounts Payable processing and 20% financial reporting and general accounting responsibilities. Because AP will make up the majority of the day-to-day workload, we are specifically looking for a Senior Accountant who is comfortable being hands-on and spending a significant portion of their time managing and processing AP transactions, while also having the accounting expertise to support financial reporting and other higher-level accounting needs.

Fluency in English and strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as our firm is headquartered in Los Angeles and you will be working closely with our U.S.-based team and client.

Key Responsibilities:

-AP/AR

-Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses

-Ensure compliance with US GAAP and relevant tax regulations

-Collaborate closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide actionable recommendations

-Maintain organized and accurate financial records

-Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

-Minimum of 5 years of progressive AP & accounting experience, preferably in both corporate and consulting environments

-Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax compliance, and reporting standards

-Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly
