Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position based in Cebu, Philippines, for a Philippines-Based Accountant specializing in US Tax Preparation. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and preparing financial statements. Day-to-day tasks also include maintaining accurate accounting records, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and working collaboratively with the team to deliver excellent client service.
US Enrolled Agent training is mandatory and will be provided, if not already certified.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in US Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and deep understanding of U.S. tax regulations
- Strong knowledge of preparing and analyzing financial statements
- Expertise in accounting and general tax-related practices
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and ensuring accuracy
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
- UD Enrolled Agent certification or equivalent is highly preferred
- Experience in handling U.S. tax preparation for both individuals and businesses is a significant plus
- Minimum four years experience in US Tax preparation.
