Job Description

Pharmacy Growth Marketing Enablement Specialist

Primary Responsibilities

1. Create high-priority sales and growth enablement materials that support pharmacy business growth, retention, and strategic opportunities

Own development of custom sales support assets for Optum pharmacy businesses, including finalist presentations, capabilities decks, custom slides, microsites, follow-up materials, renewal support content, and must-win opportunity materials that help Growth teams communicate a clear, differentiated Optum pharmacy value story.

2. Develop account-specific collateral for strategic client, prospect, and partner engagements

Create tailored materials for executive meetings, strategic reviews, finalist discussions, growth opportunities, client advisory boards, and other high-value engagements, ensuring content is relevant to the pharmacy business, account, audience, business need, and desired commercial outcome.

3. Adapt core marketing content for field and market-facing use across pharmacy businesses

Translate approved messaging and core marketing materials into practical sales-ready assets for Optum Specialty, Optum Infusion, Genoa, and other pharmacy growth teams, including decks, one-pagers, flyers, brochures, placemats, sell sheets, email templates, white-labeled or co-branded materials, provider-facing materials, and B2B2C collateral.

4. Translate complex product, clinical, operational, regulatory, and value-story inputs into usable sales narratives

Partner with pharmacy business, clinical, product, marketing, legal/compliance, and Growth stakeholders to convert complex inputs into clear, audience-specific narratives that are accurate, compelling, compliant, and easy for sales teams to use in client and market-facing conversations.

5. Maintain content quality, accuracy, and reusability across assigned pharmacy enablement assets

Support ongoing content hygiene by refreshing proof points, replacing outdated slides and assets, preserving version control, identifying opportunities to reuse or repurpose content, and ensuring assigned materials remain current and field-ready. This role supports content quality and usability but does not own the intake process or the digital library itself.

6. Support field readiness for pharmacy launches, campaigns, and growth initiatives

Create and adapt materials that help pharmacy sales and Growth teams understand, position, and activate marketing priorities, including field communications, training decks, product or service launch support, campaign handoff materials, event and conference enablement, and MQL-to-sales handoff support.

7. Manage a high-volume queue of pharmacy sales enablement deliverables with speed, quality, and consistency

Own day-to-day execution of a large queue of sales and growth support requests, balancing quick-turn needs with high-quality output, accurate messaging, brand consistency, and stakeholder responsiveness. Apply prioritization judgment, reusable content, and established templates to improve speed to market while maintaining executive-ready quality.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, sales enablement, communications, proposal support, product marketing, or a related business function.
  • Experience creating sales-facing or client-facing materials, including presentations, one-pagers, talking points, campaign materials, training content, or executive-ready collateral.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume queue of marketing, sales enablement, communications, or presentation deliverables with quick turnaround and consistent quality.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook, with demonstrated ability to create polished, executive-ready presentations and sales materials.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, audience-specific messaging.
  • Strong prioritization and time-management skills, with the ability to balance urgent sales needs, multiple stakeholders, shifting deadlines, and quality expectations.
  • Strong attention to detail, including accuracy of proof points, version control, formatting, brand consistency, and message alignment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure while maintaining accuracy, brand consistency, and stakeholder responsiveness.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, Growth, product, clinical, operational, legal/compliance, and business partners.
  • Sound judgment in knowing when to reuse existing content, when to customize, and when to escalate questions around accuracy, compliance, or positioning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, infusion, behavioral health, health care, provider-facing, B2B, or complex enterprise sales environments.
  • Familiarity with finalist presentations, renewal support, capabilities materials, client meeting support, or sales pursuit collateral.
  • Experience developing field readiness materials such as training decks, launch support, campaign handoffs, or sales communications.
  • Ability to synthesize product, clinical, operational, regulatory, and value-based inputs into practical sales enablement tools.
  • Experience working within brand, legal, compliance, or regulatory review processes.
  • Familiarity with content management, project management, or marketing workflow tools.
