Primarily responsible for dispensing medicines to customers while observing proper customer service standards and ensuring product quality through proper checking and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Observe all customer service standards in all transactions, including dispensing of drugs, achievement of sales targets, and resolution of customer complaints
- Provide excellent customer service through branch spiel, basic reminders, personalized greetings, and the Service Standard System (SSS).
- Check and submit near-expiry products to the supervisor and ensure there are no expired items in the store.
- Ensure stocks are well-kept, properly displayed, and secured against theft and pilferage while monitoring First Expiry, First Out (FEFO)
- Perform daily inventory of stocks based on assigned area
- Clean, display, arrange, and refill stocks according to therapeutic standards
- Report frequently requested but unavailable products
- Safeguard and properly use company resources, stocks, and inventory
- Observe proper grooming standards and report store irregularities
As Cashier
- Accept order transactions, receive and verify legal tender, process sales, and give correct change.
- Ensure sales transactions entered in the Point of Sale (POS) system match actual items dispensed.
- Validate transactions such as voids, discounts, card transactions, sales return, and exchange.
- Safeguard money from branch sales and observe proper turnover procedures of Local Cash Fund (LCF) and exchange of bills and coins with Pharmacy Supervisor/Assistant Pharmacy Supervisor (PS/APS).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 2nd-year college level
- Minimum of 6 months work experience
- Good memory for product knowledge
- Able to work fast in a dynamic environment
