The Medical City Iloilo is seeking a licensed and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the safe, accurate, and effective use of medications while supporting clinical excellence and patient-centered care across the institution.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Review, dispense, and ensure the accurate preparation of medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Verify prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient response to medications and report adverse drug reactions or medication errors.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulatory standards, and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate records, inventory control, and proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.

Qualifications
• Must be a licensed Pharmacist with a valid PRC license.

• Knowledgeable in hospital pharmacy operations, medication safety, and regulatory standards.
• Proficient in pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays.
