Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for appropriateness, and provide medication counseling to patients and healthcare partners. Daily responsibilities include verifying drug interactions and contraindications, monitoring medication inventories, and ensuring proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals. The Pharmacist will maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards, support audits and compliance activities, and implement safety protocols. The role also involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and assisting in training or guiding pharmacy support staff.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical pharmacy skills, including prescription verification, medication therapy management, and patient counseling.
  • Knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and standard treatment guidelines.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy operations such as inventory management, medication storage requirements, and dispensing workflows.
  • Proficiency with basic health information systems, pharmacy software, and digital record-keeping.
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education.
  • Current Pharmacist license/registration in the applicable jurisdiction, with good standing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), or equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or community pharmacy setting is an advantage.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
