Job Description

The Parts Supply and Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing international and domestic supply chain operations while ensuring full compliance with government regulations. This role oversees import processes, analyzes logistics performance, coordinates transportation activities, and ensures adherence to customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.

Importation & Trade Management

  • Manage end-to-end importation processes, including documentation, shipment tracking, and customs clearance
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, brokers, and port authorities
  • Prepare and review import documents (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin)
  • Monitor shipment schedules to ensure timely arrival and minimize demurrage and detention costs
  • Ensure accurate tariff classification and valuation of imported goods

Logistics & Transportation Analysis

  • Analyze logistics and transportation data to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities
  • Monitor freight costs, delivery performance, and service levels
  • Optimize transportation routes, carrier selection, and load planning
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and KPIs for logistics performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain operations

Government Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements
  • Liaise with government agencies (e.g., customs, trade, and regulatory bodies)
  • Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes affecting importation and logistics
  • Prepare and submit required permits, licenses, and regulatory filings
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure proper record-keeping for compliance purposes

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, finance, and distribution teams
  • Work closely with customs brokers and third-party logistics providers
  • Resolve shipment delays, claims, customs issues, and compliance concerns

Support risk management and contingency planning for supply chain disruptions

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field

No. of Years of Experience: 3-5 years of experience in importation, logistics, transportation, or trade compliance

Professional Exposure : Strong understanding of customs procedures, tariffs, and international trade regulations

Technical Skills: Proven experience in logistics, transportation analysis, or supply chain operations; Experience in regulatory compliance and audit processes
