What's The Role All About
The Compliance Officer is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and monitoring the regulatory compliance framework for Material Supply Chain operations, ensuring adherence to PEZA, customs, tax, aviation, environmental, and internal control requirements.
Who Are We Looking For
- College or University Graduate
- 5–7 years of experience in regulatory compliance, customs, taxation, audit, governance, logistics, aviation supply chain, or related functions
- Experience supporting PEZA-registered enterprises, customs compliance, tax compliance, audit activities, governance programs, or regulatory reporting is highly preferred
- Experience coordinating with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external auditors
- Experience developing or implementing compliance controls, documentation standards, and governance processes
Major Responsibilities
- Approves compliance-related operational expenses within defined limits, including regulatory filings, compliance registrations, certifications, audit support, training, and regulatory documentation requirements
- Recommends corrective actions, compliance controls, policy updates, and regulatory risk mitigation measures
- Escalates significant compliance risks, findings, and regulatory issues requiring management action
- Approves compliance documentation reviews and audit readiness activities within defined scope
- Approves compliance reviews, regulatory documentation validation, and governance-related actions within defined scope
- Recommends suspension or corrective action for activities with identified compliance risks or regulatory gaps
