We are looking for skilled and passionate Pet Groomers to join our growing team at Luxuri Pets – Parqal, Parañaque and Opus, Pasig.
Job Summary
The Pet Groomer is responsible for maintaining the hygiene, appearance, comfort, and overall well-being of pets through professional grooming services. This role performs a range of grooming procedures, including bathing, brushing, hair trimming and styling, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and other hygiene-related services.
The Pet Groomer is expected to handle animals safely and compassionately, recognize potential health concerns, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and provide pet owners with appropriate grooming and pet care recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete grooming services, including bathing, brushing, drying, hair cutting, styling, and de-shedding.
- Trim nails, clean ears, brush teeth, and perform other routine hygiene procedures.
- Provide grooming styles appropriate to the pet's breed, coat condition, and the client's preferences.
- Handle pets safely, calmly, and professionally throughout the grooming process.
- Monitor pets for signs of skin conditions, parasites, infections, injuries, or other potential health concerns and report findings as necessary.
- Coordinate with the Veterinary Team when a pet requires further assessment or medical attention.
- Clean, disinfect, and properly maintain grooming tools, equipment, and workstations.
- Keep the grooming area clean, organized, safe, and compliant with established hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming services, observations, aftercare, and pet care recommendations.
- Provide a welcoming and positive customer experience that reflects Luxuri Pets premium service standards.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- At least a High School Graduate.
- Preferably with 1–2 years of professional pet grooming experience.
- Knowledge of grooming techniques, breed-specific grooming standards, coat care, and proper animal handling.
- Ability to safely and confidently handle pets of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal safety and welfare.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Patient, compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with animals.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have a genuine passion for animal care and welfare.
