Requirements
At least 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing company as Pest Control Technician/Officer
Relevant training in Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) Accreditation, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Training, Pesticide Safety Training, and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) Training or Food Safety Training
Must have a Certified Pesticide Applicator-Fumigator from the Fertilizer and Pesticides Authority under the Department of Agriculture
Proficient in MS Office
Good communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor daily pest control activities and compliance with company procedures
Check traps, conduct fumigation, misting, spraying, and product inspections
Review pest control reports and fumigation certificates
Manage pest control consumable and chemicals
Provide basic pest control training to employees
Conduct facility audits and prepare monthly trend reports
Determine proper treatment methods to prevent pest infestation
Review and update pest control policies, MSDS, and CPR for chemicals
Participate in internal and external audits
Education
Attend trainings and seminars as required by the company
Graduate of Bachelor of Science degree in Entomology, Biology, Environmental Science, or any science/agricultural-related courses.
