About the role: We are seeking a
driven and highly capable Permitting and Right-of-Way (ROW) Specialist committed to operational excellence and timely project delivery. This role is central to managing all facets of the permitting lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with municipal codes and policies. Key Responsibilities The Permitting and ROW Specialist will be accountable for the following critical functions:
Permit Application Management:- Prepare, submit, and secure necessary permit applications for diverse construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
Lifecycle Tracking and Compliance:- Proactively manage and track the entire permit lifecycle, including initial submission, reviews, approvals, and essential change orders.
- Maintain strict adherence to all applicable city, county, and state permitting codes and policies, serving as the internal subject matter expert.
Stakeholder & Municipal Relations:- Act as the primary liaison and point of contact, fostering effective, collaborative relationships with city, county, and state municipalities and regulatory authorities to expedite approvals.
ROW Negotiation & Coordination:- Coordinate and manage Right-of-Way (ROW) access, agreements, and requirements necessary for project execution.
Documentation and Reporting:- Maintain comprehensive, organized records of all permit-related documents, correspondence, and status updates for auditing and reporting purposes.
What You Need:- At least 3 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 1-3 years specifically in permitting, land/site acquisition, or Right-of-Way for utilities or infrastructure projects (Telco experience is highly preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of the permitting processes and bureaucratic structures within Philippine LGUs.
- Proven ability to interpret local permitting codes, zoning laws, and ROW policies.
- A hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving, with a track record of resolving complex regulatory issues.
