Ensure that the Scommerce complies with all national and local laws in Philippines related to business operations, warehousing, and occupational safety
Assist the Lead to monitor updates on regulatory requirements from LGU guidelines, FDA, DOLE, BFP, DENR and assess their impact on operations
Develops a compliance calendar to ensure timely renewals of all permits and licenses
Be liaison to the Scommerce for the end-to-end application, renewal, amendment, and retirement of all business permits
Serve as primary contact person with external regulators and government offices
Develops a professional relationship with LGU offices such as BPLO, Treasurer's office, City Planning, BFP, and other agencies relevant to Scommerce operations
Facilitate and assist government inspections and manage inspectors for minimal findings
Maintains a centralized repository of all permits, certifications, authorizations and regulatory correspondence
Track permit status, deadlines, and upcoming renewals using logs and digital tools
Ensure proper archiving of historical permits and compliance documents for audit readiness
Prepare regular status report on permit updates, renewal progress, upcoming expirations, and regulatory changes
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administrative course
At least 3 to 5 years experience in Permits and Licensing Works, Legal and Administrative Works and Regulatory Affairs
Must be willing to travel in between warehouse and to LGUs
Strong analytical skills proficiency in MS Office
Experience with reading technical drawings, abreast on current events and news
Ability to interpret local regulations, ordinances and compliance requirements with coordination with the Lead and other stakeholders
Ability to build rapport with Government officers and ensure smooth processing of permits and compliance documents
Ensure zero errors in compliance filings to avoid delays and penalties
