Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
Key Responsibility Area - Administration
- Process and issue Overweight (OW), High Productivity Motor Vehicle (HPMV) and Specialist Vehicle (SV) Permits on behalf of NZ Transport Agency in accordance with the NZ Transport Agency Overweight Permit Manual and Vehicle Dimension and Mass Rule (VDAM 2016).
- Assist with the administration of policy governing the movement of Overweight and over dimension vehicles on State Highways
and Local Authority networks.
- Develop and maintain close working relationship with the NZ Police Commercial Vehicle Safety Team (CVST).
- Represent NZ Transport Agency as the customer contact for overweight permits and promote NZ Transport Agency policies and
procedures as directed.
- Contribute to the monthly reports for NZ Transport Agency.
- Perform all other permit related duties as directed or required by Discipline Lead / Transport Manila Operations Manager/ Regional
Team Executive in line with his experience, discipline, or qualifications.

- Keep professional registrations/licences current
- Through the formal Performance Review process, establish personal development needs/goals
- Keep up to date with developments in the relevant professional area,
- Develop and maintain a network of technical/professional support,

innovation and adopting new practices. Share these learnings with your team

Key Responsibility Area – Health, Safety and Wellbeing
- Ensure that all projects and activities have an approved safety plan, and that health and safety issues are managed through the project
plan.
- All aspects of the site and work will be completed and consistent with the agreed Project Safety Plan.
- Identify appropriate training requirements for your role and participate in appropriate training.
- Ensure that hazards arising from, or associated with project or activities undertaken are identified, reported, and managed including
self-management where appropriate.
Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable):
— Graduate of Engineering, Architecture, Business, Formal Sciences
— Certificate/Associate/Diploma programs (Computer Technology, Drafting Technology)
Experience, Skills And Organisational Knowledge
— Administrative and process experience
— Team and target delivery experience
— Customer liaison experience
— Strong organisational ability to optimise and prioritise conflicting demands in a busy environment, to achieve deadlines and
see responsibilities through to completion
— Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
— Good interpersonal and communication skills, including oral and written communication and particularly the ability to
present ideas, information and advice in a way that is understandable by a range of audiences.
— Computer literate; proficient in MS Office suite 2013 – Proficient in Word and Excel essential.
