Job Title: Website Sales Specialist
Job Summary:
As a Website Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for dealers using the Website product suite within the DealerCenter platform — combining sales closing skills with hands-on ownership of getting each dealer's website built and customized to their needs. You will drive subscription sign-ups, guide dealers through the site-building process end-to-end, and work closely with the web engineering team to turn dealer requirements into a finished, live site. This role is best suited for someone who can close a sale and then stay accountable for delivering the product the dealer signed up for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface directly with dealers via phone and email, serving as both sales closer and dedicated point of contact through the site-building process
- Pitch, negotiate, and close deals for website product subscriptions, meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets/quotas
- Overcome objections and proactively create urgency to convert interest into sign-ups
- Be highly knowledgeable about the Website product suite within the DealerCenter platform
- Explain product features and benefits to current and potential dealers, framing them to support purchasing decisions
- Gather and document each dealer's website requirements (design preferences, inventory display, branding, functionality needs)
- Interface directly with the web engineering team to translate dealer requirements into the finished site, and manage the dealer's expectations and timeline throughout the build
- Provide help/support and product walkthroughs once the site is live, ensuring the dealer understands and adopts the product
- Maintain accurate records of dealer interactions, requirements, and sales activity in the CRM system
- Provide timely follow-up to maximize dealer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities
- Facilitate dealer feedback to management to help continuously improve the product and build process
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably involving product subscriptions, SaaS, or a call center/customer-facing sales environment
- Prior experience in a customer support, account/project management, or technical product coordination role is a strong advantage
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate a dealer's business needs into clear technical requirements
- Comfortable owning a deal from close through delivery — not just handing off and moving on
- Experience using CRM systems to track sales pipeline and customer/project status
- Familiarity with website platforms, DealerCenter, or automotive dealership software is a plus
