JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direct supervision of the Division Chief, provides technical support on the deliverables for children and youth sectors and contributes to the division's deliverables based on schedules, projects, plans, and activities. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Acts as Section Chief for Women and Family Welfare Sectors in the Division 2. Acts as Deputy OIC of the Division when necessary 3. Acts as the regional focal for CRCFs in Regions III, IVB, V, VI, VII, IX, X, XI, and CAR 4. Assists in the planning, organizing, and coordinating the work of the Division toward the attainment of periodic targets 5.Oversees the Section in the execution of plans and provision of technical assistance and monitoring of residential care and center-based services by the Sectoral focals 6. Reviews and provides technical inputs and recommendations to proposed and existing legislation, national development policies and other papers/proposals on residential care and center-based services 7. Advises and provides technical assistance to Field Offices and other stakeholders and interprets objectives, policies, procedures, rules and regulations, standards and requirements, guidelines on residential care and center-based services 8. Acts as a resource person on workshops/training relative to the center-based program 9. Establishes partnership with government and non-government agencies to strengthen advocacy on the center-based program 10. Acts as an alternate member of the CDO-Personnel Selection Committee representing 11. Performs other functions as may be defined, assigned, or delegated by the Division Chief in relation to the implementation of the center-based program. | |||
