JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direct supervision of the Section Chief and the Division Chief, will be in charge of the monitoring, coordination, and provision of technical assistance to Field Offices (FOs) in the implementation of programs and services for community and special concerns under the Family and Community Unit and inter-agency collaboration and partnership. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Act as National Focal Person for Community and Special Concerns (e.g. programs and services for indigenous peoples, distressed foreign nationals, victim-survivors of involuntary disappearance and their families, etc.). 2. Develop and provide inputs and comments on policies based on the existing program policies of the Department. 3. Attend meetings and other official gatherings relevant to community programs and services and special concerns. 4. Gather/consolidate/provide inputs and comments on the reports from FOs and other stakeholders. 5. Prepare Project Proposals and Work and Financial Plans relative to the program handled. 6. Provide monitoring and technical assistance to the FOs relative to the program implementation and capacity-building activities. 7. Monitor program fund utilization and submit catch plans. 8. Review, comment, and acknowledge quarterly reports from FOs. 9. Respond to queries, requests, and referrals from DSWD's OBSUs/FOs. 10. Facilitate requests and referrals to appropriate agencies including Phone-in inquiries, emails, and walk-ins. 11. Attend Division/Staff Meeting 12. Attend Inter-Bureau and Inter-Agency meetings with other stakeholders and agencies 13. Coordinate the Department's accomplishments and updates on the implementation of community welfare programs and special concerns. 14. Facilitate training and program review relative to the program/sector handled. 15. Act as a resource person in the different capacity buildings, forum, seminars and other similar activities. 16. Perform other related tasks as assigned. | |||
