JOB DESCRIPTION The Social Welfare Officer III shall be the focal person of the RJJWC in the region, providing assistance and support to the RJJWC in performing its mandate, duties and functions, in accordance with RA 9344 as amended and its IRR. He/she oversees the implementation of programs, projects and activities identified in the RJJWC work and financial plan. He/she likewise coordinates with the RJJWC member agencies, with other partners and stakeholders at the LGU levels, and with the National Secretariat. | ||
Functions and Responsibilities: | ||
1.Provides technical assistance in crafting CLJIP as required under RA 9344 as amended by RA 10630, through orientation, workshop and writeshops 2.Collects data as basis for crafting of CRJIP through FGD and workshops 3.Coordinates meetings as required under RA 9344 as amended by RA 10630, every two months 4.Coordinates jails/detention cell, BPA and center visits within monitoring team/committee to ensure the implementation of the law as required under RA 10630 5.Gathers data for policy development through issuance of committee resolution 6.Conducts/facilitate activities to enhance capacity of duty bearers in relation to RA 9344 as amended 7.Conducts/facilitates consultation dialogues to discuss issues and concerns relative to the implementation of RA9344 8.Conducts/facilitates advocacy and social marketing activities to educate and raise public awareness in relation to the implementation of RA 9344 9.Submits accomplishment report as required under RA9344 as amended, quarterly and annually. | ||

1.Technical assistance to LGUs in crafting Comprehensive Local Juvenile Intervention Program (CLJIP) 2.Draft comprehensive Regional Juvenile Intervention Program 3.Bi-monthly meetings 4.Monitoring visits to jails/detention cells, BPAs and centers 5.Data gathering for policy development 6.Capacity building activities for Duty Bearers (Diversion Discernment Proceedings, Managing CAR and CICL/Flow Chart/referals, RA9344 as amended by RA10630) 7.Consultation dialogues with duty bearers/partner agencies 8.Advocacy activities (Children's Month, JJ Week) 9.Quarterly and annual reports. | ||
