JOB DESCRIPTION Under the supervision of the Section Chief and Division Chief, the Social Welfare Officer II (SWO II) shall perform key functions in supporting the pilot testing of designed activities and processes, monitoring planned activities, and documenting pilot experiences at the regional and local levels. The position is also responsible for packaging program documents and evidence, and facilitating their turnover to support program promotion and institutionalization. The SWO II prepares activity and project proposals, project manuals, documentation and feedback reports on demonstration or pilot testing activities, and project monitoring. The SWO II likewise performs other related tasks concerning the sectors catered and special assignments performed by the Division. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Pilot testing of projects/ programs relating toWomen, Persons with Disability and Older Persons sectors 2. Preparesupporting documents related to submission of activity proposal for the implementation of specific project/program's activitiese.g. capability building, Focus Group Discussion and consultation meetings among othersbased on approved program design 3. Assist in the conduct ofcapability building activities and pilot demonstration activities in relation to the pilot implementation of SWD models of intervention 4. Submit periodic pilot accomplishment reports and input project updates in the Project Management Information System 5. Conduct monitoring and technical assistance to DSWD Field Office/s and other stakeholders 6. Prepare documentation report on pilot testing related activities i.e. capability building/consultation dialogue 7. Review, analyze and prepare technical papers and other documents 8. Attend inter-agency meetings, both internal and external to the DSWD 9. Prepare Work and Financial Plan, and ensure timely fund utilization 10. Perform tasks related to special assignments within the Division such as planning, budgeting, risk management, quality management, institutional development, strategic priorities, institutional developmentand capacity building and 11. Perform other related tasks and special assignments. | |||
