JOB DESCRIPTION The Social Welfare Officer II shall be part of the Emergency Cash Assistance Section (ECAS). As such, he/she will provide technical assistance to the field offices and will also be involved in the facilitation of FOs request, prepares project proposals and documentary requirements needed on the request for the funds needed. The Social Welfare Officer II also gets involved in the enhancement of the guidelines for the proper execution of programs and drafts communication in relation to the programs implementation. He/she may also be appointed to attend and participate in various meetings and activities that include Early Recovery functions. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Provide technical assistance to DSWD Field Offices and partner stakeholders 2. Formulate Emergency Cash Assistance Plans 3. Submit feedback reports 4. Conduct field monitoring and provide technical assistance in the implementation ECAS-PPAs 5. Prepare Work and Financial Plan (WFP), project proposal and other documentary requirements related to DRRM activities 6. Attendance to inter-agency, consultation meeting, rehabilitation planning, bureau meetings and trainings/workshop related to DRRM activities 7. Assist project focal of the disaster programs assigned as alternate focal for the active engagement and continuation for consolidation of Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) and 8. Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor. | |||
