JOB DESCRIPTION

The Social Welfare Officer (SWO) II shall assist the SWO III for the CCCM activities and other programs/projects of the Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) Cluster Management Section. He/She shall serve as the primary contact person of all CCCM cluster-member agencies and shall coordinate his/her coordination efforts with the SWO III. He/She shall coordinate and monitor all disaster response operations and shall be responsible for the effective provision of Technical Assistance and Resource Augmentation (TARA) to the different response cluster members involved along CCCM. This role demands initiative, adaptability, and the capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Coordinate and lead the provision of technical assistance and resource augmentation to response cluster members concerning Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM).

2.Coordinate and monitor Response Cluster Management activities and disaster response operations

3.Serve as Secretariat to the CCCM cluster meeting, and prepare slide/ Powerpoint presentations during its activation

4.Assist the Section Head in the CCCM cluster meetings and technical working groups.

5.Attendance in the inter-agency, bureau meetings, special events, and training/workshop related to DRRM and Response Cluster activities

6.Conduct cluster level needs assessment on CCCM and Response Cluster Management's programs/ projects/activities

7.Serve as Detailed Duty Officer (DDO) at the NDRRMC Operations Center (OpCen), and consolidate the situation reports submitted by CCCM Cluster member agencies during response cluster activation

8.Prepare CCCM Cluster Situation Report

9.Review, analyze, and provide comments/inputs on Response Cluster, CCCM, guidelines, manuals, IEC materials and other issuances

10.Support in the review and analysis of Protection (GBViE, CPiE, MHPSS, Management of Bereaved Families, etc.), and FNI guidelines, manuals, IEC material, and other issuances

11.Prepare after-duty reports, documentation reports, and feedback reports of activities undertaken

12.Provide learning development interventions to response cluster members in coordination with DPRD

13.Support monitoring, evaluation, and reporting activities of CCCM and Response Cluster to ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and operational objectives.

14.Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
