JOB DESCRIPTION

Under direction of the Division Chief, the position ensures the effective and efficient delivery of services in the area of procurement, logistics, staffing development and evaluation, records management to the NPMO.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Reviews the Annual Procurement Plan and consolidated Work and Financial Plan and endorses these to the Office of the Secretary

2. Ensures that the procurement of equipment, services and supplies are in accordance with the Annual Procurement Plan

3. Supervises distribution, maintenance, safekeeping and disposal of supplies and equipment according to existing guidelines

4. Oversees monitoring of budget utilization, recommendations on fund allocation and re-alignment as well as requests for managerial actions on fund usage

5. Monitors hiring of personnel and supervises handling of employment-related concerns of 4Ps employees

6. Facilitates identification of training needs and drafting of training design for 4Ps employees in coordination with the Capability Building Unit (CBU)

7. Oversees the safekeeping, updating, release, utilization and disposal of records

8. Reviews and initiates improvements on records management, logistics management, property/supplies management, procurement and staffing and performance management and

9. Performs other related task as directed by the key principals.

5. Copy of Special Order or Certification indicating the supervisory/management experience/functions signed by the HRMO or any authorized representative (for Division Chief positions only or as may be applicable)

(i) For RA 1080 Eligible (RSWs and/or other board passers only):

7. Performance Rating in the last semestral/probationary rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable.

(i) Applicants from public sectors outside DSWD Central Office: If vying for promotion or transfer, a performance rating of at least Very Satisfactory in the last semestral/probationary rating period prior the date of assessment or screening is required.

(ii) Applicants from private sectors: In the absence of performance rating, you may use the Certificate of Performance Rating from your most recent employer. You may access the form through this link:
