JOB DESCRIPTION Under direction of the Deputy Program Manager, the position oversees and manages the Division in terms of policy and learning materials development, capability building, technical assistance and monitoring. The PDOV also coordinates/collaborates with other divisions relative to the delivery of the Division's targets towards the achievement of the Program goals and objectives such as but not limited to the monitoring of FDS compliance of beneficiaries and development of IEC materials for advocacy campaigns through the FDS. He/sheshall design/develop FDS M&E tools to assess output/outcome/impact of F/YDS implementation, conduct forum/dialogue/consultation-workshop, and other related activities for the enhancement of FDS implementation. He/she shall also represent the N/DPM, as instructed, in meetings and other related activities. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Sets the direction for the Family Development Division through: . Providing strategic guidance in the overall implementation of FDS and oversight of the achievement of FDS-related thrusts and priorities . Leading the monitoring and provision of technical assistance to the 4Ps RPMO Division Chiefs and FDS focal persons . Developing capacity-building plan for FDS implementers, including its corresponding work and financial plan and . Overseeing the enhancement and development of FDS learning materials to ensure relevance, quality, and alignment with program goals. 2. Oversees the implementation of the Division's activities, including: . Preparation of activity proposals related to FDS . Designing/development of M&E tools in coordination with concerned office/s to assess the output/outcome/impact of FDS implementation . Conduct of forum/dialogue/consultation-workshop, and other related activities with relevant stakeholders for the FDS implementation enhancement and . Coordination/collaboration with other Divisions relative to the delivery of the Division's targets. 3. Supervises day-to-day operations of the Division, specifically in delivering timely and quality outputs anchored on Program Goals, Directives, Thrusts and Priorities, and Division strategic plans with completed staff work which include: . Planning and distribution of tasks/deliverables of the Division staff . Motivating, training, and developing the capacities of the Division staff to improve current performance . Review and evaluation of the outputs of the Division staff and identifies action to improve their performance . Maintaining the morale and discipline among the Division staff and . Developing and promoting a well-coordinated work-force. 4. Represents the Division in the Pantawid Pamilya Program Management Committee and other bodies as designated by the NPM/DPM. | |||
