JOB DESCRIPTION Under the guidance of the Division Chief and/or Section Head, he/she will serve as the CRCFs Operations Budget Officer. In this role, he/she will support informed decision-making by developing financial models based on data analysis, preparing financial plans and reports, and maintaining the bureau's financial records. The position also involves reviewing program trends and providing practical recommendations to help guide planning and resource allocation. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Serve as the Budget Officer and lead the preparation of budget proposals and forward estimates 2. Attend and/or represent the office in inter-division or inter-office meetings, workshops, and learning and development activities related to financial and administrative matters 3. Prepare the Work and Financial Plan, including corresponding schedules 4. Monitor the status of the corporate budget by comparing actual expenditures against the approved budget, and communicate updates to all Field Offices for their information and appropriate action 5. Support the budgeting process by providing relevant inputs, guidelines, and budget assumptions to all Field Offices 6. Review and consolidate budget proposals submitted by various Field Offices 7. Analyze, review, and process financial transactions and supporting documents to ensure completeness and compliance with requirements 8. Ensure that program funds are properly accounted for and reported in a timely manner 9. Prepare official communications addressed to Offices, Bureaus, Sections, and Units 10. Participate in trainings, supervision sessions, and meetings and 11. Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor. | |||
