JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direct supervision of the Division Chief (CO) or Section Chief (FO), the Project Development Officer II shall primarily act as the Special Disbursing Officer (SDO) for the Crisis Intervention Program (CIP) in the CO and Crisis Intervention Sections (CIS) in the FOs, implementing the AICS program and other related initiatives. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Act as the SDO and Budget Officer for the AICS Program and related initiatives of the Department 2. Review, assess, and approve clients documents in relation to the provision of assistance or cash advance in various modalities 3. Receive and safeguard cash advances for the specific programs and ensure that the same are properly disbursed, recorded and accounted for 4. Prepare payroll documents and liquidation reports for financial assistance being provided to beneficiaries, direct payout to clients and submit monthly registries of paid beneficiaries 5. Assists in preparation of budgets and other related program financial documents 6. Tracks program expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets 7. Implement approved policies, regulations, and work plans established by the CIP within the assigned area of responsibility 8. Identify fraudulent documents and subject them to the denial of the requested assistance or other legal actions and 9. Performs other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. | |||
