JOB DESCRIPTION The Project Development Officer (PDO) I shall assist the PDO III and PDO II in managing DRMB websites implementing Information Systems (IS) for DRRM programs and services conducting assessment and evaluation of existing DRRM-ISs for efficiency and effectiveness and, management of ICT resources. | |||||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||||
1.Assist in managing the implementation of Information Systems (ISs) for DRRM programs and services and provide technical to end-users both in Central Office (CO) and Field Offices (FOs) 2.Assist in the assessment and evaluation existing DRRM-ISs for efficiency and effectiveness in delivering social protection programs and services, and recommend development/enhancement when necessary 3.Assist in managing ICT resources including emergency telecommunications (ETC) equipment 4.Assist in the administration of the Bureau's websites to ensure that the websites are updated, stable and responsive 5.Adhere to the Department's policies and procedures particularly on technology and operations, and information security 6.Assist in coordinating with ICTMS for ICT needs and requirements 7.Assist in the evaluation and piloting of technologies prior to major investment or deployment 8.Facilitate maintenance of IS and ICT resources 9.Assist in preparing/crafting project proposals for DROMIC activities 10.Prepare required DRRM-related reports 11.Provide technical assistance to Field Offices and 12.Perform other DROMIC-related works that may be assigned from time-to-time by the immediate supervisor and /or higher authorities. | |||||
