JOB DESCRIPTION The Project Development Officer I assists the PDO III and the PDO II in the development, enhancement, and management of the Emergency Response Sections operations. The role helps coordinate activities of the Emergency Response Section, including monitoring Quick Response Team (QRT) readiness, facilitating participation in Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) activities, and supporting anticipatory preparedness initiatives. It also provides support in planning, coordination, documentation, and reporting processes to promote timely and effective emergency preparedness and response operations of the Disaster Preparedness and Response Bureau. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Assists the PDO II and acts as an alternate focal point for Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment meetings 2. Monitors Standby Fund and Stockpile online monitoring platform assesses and recommends if relief resources are deficient 3. Facilitates Quick Response Fund (QRF) replenishment documents 4. Attends to NDRRMC meetings as PDO II as directed by the Immediate Supervisor or Section Head 5. Assists in drafting feedback reports on the conduct of PDRA and other NDRRMC meetings attended 6. Helps provide input to the HPMES reportorial compliance of the Emergency Response Section and 7. Performs other related tasks assigned by the Bureau Director, Assistant Bureau Director, Immediate Supervisor, or Section Head. | |||
