JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Chief, Personnel Administration Division (PAD) and the Section Head, performs administrative/technical functions along personnel administration in accordance with existing policies/guidelines.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Acts as Payroll Officer for officials and employees of assigned Office/Fund Source to facilitate payroll, Individual disbursement vouchers, remittance list, OBR, Findes, Bank Payroll Register (BPR) and other related actions

2. Prepares reports to GSIS such as ARA and ERF

3. Prepares salary lapses to be submitted to the Budget Division as reference in reviewing available PS funds on a monthly basis

4. Updates/monitors compensation and benefits related database/systems to include the DBM-GMIS

6. Conducts research studies/data gathering, data and statistical analysis, and prepares write-ups and reports

6. Coordinates with other agencies concerning personnel matters specially on compensation and benefits

7. Reviews validity and completeness of supporting of documents to claims being processed

8. Prepares routinary and/or highly technical Memoranda and other office communications relative to personnel administration matters

9. Provides technical assistance to CO-OBS when needed, and coordinates with CO-OBS focals to address issues and concerns relative to personnel matters

10. Regularly checks new issuances on policies, guidelines, laws and regulations from oversight agencies and offices for further action of the Section

11. Maintains records and files of documents specifically in relation to personnel administration, in view of existing rules and regulations on records management, filing, sorting and disposal

12. Drafts replies to queries based on existing policies, guidelines and established procedures

13. Does other related tasks as may be assigned
