JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the general supervision of the Division Chief, the Project Development Officer III leads the section in the development of learning materials for the conduct of the Family Development Sessions (FDS) and capacity-building activities and support to regional counterparts. The position monitors and provides technical assistance on the implementation of FDS in the assigned region to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with national program standards and policy directions. The position also ensures the timely delivery of tasks and quality outputs of the section.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Leads the section in the timely delivery of tasks and quality outputs of the section

2. Develops and enhances the FDS learning materials

3. Prepares and facilitates the approval of activity proposals

4. Conducts on-site monitoring on FDS implementation

5. Provides technical assistance to regional counterparts and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth implementation of the FDS at the different levels of operation

6. Assists in the conduct of spot check, impact evaluation, and research on FDS implementation

7. Prepares monitoring and technical assistance reports

8. Develops policies and recommendations for the improvement of FDS implementation

9. Provides updates on technical assistance projects with development partners and

10. Provides inputs on the accomplishment reports for submission and approval by the Division Chief.

5. Training designs

6. Monitoring and technical assistance plans, reports and updates and
