JOB DESCRIPTION Under the general supervision of the Division Chief, the Manpower Development Officer II will assess, implement and monitor training needs related to the development of (i) personnel engaged in the operation of the Academy and (ii) systems and training facilities that support the conduct of trainings coordinate with the Divisions, its personnel and other partner training institutions to ensure that the manpower in the Academy are equipped with relevant skills necessary for its daily operation. The MDO II will manage the electronics and communications that supports the operation of the DSWD Academy. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Directs and provides general supervision on skills training program 2. Conduct meeting, orientation, trainings, and provide technical assistance to the youth, parents and staff 3. Ensure a responsive organizational structure and serve as information officer of the Academy 4. Coordinate and advocate LDUs/partners and stakeholders for technical support in the conduct of trainings 5. Serve as part of the learning management team of activities and courses implemented at the DSWD Academy by ensuring the appropriate electronics set up and managing the electronics support during the actual conduct of the activities to ensure efficient delivery of Academy activities 6. Design and develop electronic systems for the efficient implementation of courses at the DSWD Academy 7. Performs other related tasks that shall be assigned by the immediate supervisor. | |||
