JOB DESCRIPTION The Information Officer (IO) II is responsible with the Section Head (PDO III) in the production of DRMB and DROMIC journalistic communication products through editorial support based on captured DRRM-related data and information likewise, in monitoring disaster incidents and DRRM activities per set targets and in providing write-ups to the immediate supervisor on consolidated updates for the DRMB and DROMIC websites. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1.Prepare DRRM information products based on captured DRRM-related data through audio and visual communication. 2.Develop DRRM-related content for social media. 3.Monitor all queries and draft posts/responses of the public to the posted notices/information at the DRMB and DROMIC websites and social media. 4.Process the information from the public and refer it to the immediate supervisor for pertinent action. 5.Conduct DRRM-related fieldwork to capture photos and videos needed for developing information products. 6.Ensure updates on the DRRM website content. 7.Provide technical assistance to the DSWD Field Offices. 8.Assists in developing the bureau's communication plan, social media plan, communication policies, and advocacy plan. 9.Undertake additional duties and other DROMIC-related works that may be assigned from time to time by higher authorities. | |||
