JOB DESCRIPTION

Under direction, executes/recommends program relating to management and provision of general services provides/formulates/interprets/executes policies, plans and activities related to provision of logistical support and does related work.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Manage/Supervise Heads of the Genera Services Division

2. Interpret and implement policies, rules and regulations relative to general services and logistical support

3. Recommend guidelines and standards for efficient management of transportation, accounts management and bills payment, janitorial and security and Central Office dormitories and functions rooms

4. Ensure compliance to all regulations and recommend solutions applicable to the Division

5. Oversees systems development in monitoring, tracking and receiving requests on various services

6. Oversees efficient contract and accounts management on various services

7. Initiate and supervise, as needed, the conduct of specific studies/researches pertaining to the work of the Division

8. Recommend work methods or procedures in the implementation of GASSG policies

9. Review required reports, communications and other correspondence for signature of the Administrative Service Director

10. Attend to inter office/agency meetings, seminars, symposia and other official gatherings related to logistics support and general services for the Department

11. Assists in enforcing office discipline and submit recommendations on matter for disciplinary actions and

12. Performs other related tasks that shall be assigned from time to time.

Final Shortlisting

:

Top five (5) highest rating but overall rating should not be less than 85%

If two (2) or more vacant positions with the same title and Salary Grade are published at the same time, and there is only one (1) longlist of applicants provided by HRMDS, additional two (2) applicants for every regular position will be added on top five (5) highest rating. However, all the additional shortlisted applicants should meet the 80% cut off.
