JOB DESCRIPTION Under general supervision and with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgement, and in accordance with existing guidelines, rules, regulations and protocols, performs administrative functions along personnel administration and does other related work. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Acts as Section Chief of the Leave Administration Section 2. Guides and motivates staff to raise level of efficiency/effectiveness/morale 3. Counsels staff and conduct on-the-job coaching and monitoring to subordinates 4. Evaluates performance of staff 5. Supervises voucher/payroll preparation, leave administration and other personnel transactions 6. Reviews/signs various payrolls, disbursement vouchers and other financial documents, reports, leave applications, terminal leave benefits and other communications 7. Coordinates with other agencies concerning personnel matters 8. Provides technical assistance to other Offices/Bureaus/Services (OBS) in relation to leave administration transactions 9. Acts as Secretariat to various committees 10. Acts as resource person to trainings/orientations 11. May act as OIC of the Division as may be necessary and 12. Does other related tasks as maybe assigned from time to time. | |||
