JOB DESCRIPTION Under general supervision of the Chief of the Property and Asset Management Division with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgement, serves as Head of a Section, engaged in moderately difficult but routine work or performs difficult and responsible work, with a very broad knowledge in warehouse and supply management. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Serve as Section Head of the Property Accountability and Monitoring Section (PAMS) 2. Review outputs of personnel, oversee and supervise personnel under PAMS 3. Prepare/draft documents and communications needed in responding to issues and concerns pertaining to property recording, property accountability, inventory, disposal, and relief from property accountability 4. Identify, recommend/draft policies, guidelines, advisory on areas of assignment 5. Provide Technical Assistance to Offices, Bureaus and Services as well as Field Offices on matters relating to property accountability and property monitoring 6. Conduct regular reconciliation of property records with the Financial Service - Accounting Division Representative and update property records based on the result of the reconciliation activity 7. Participate in activities relating to physical count of properties and supplies as member of the Inventory Committee for Central Office (ICCO) 8. Participate in activities relating to disposal of unserviceable, no longer needed properties and waste materials, as member of the Secretariat of the Property Disposal and Awards Committee (PDAC) 9. Provide guidance to concerned personnel (Computer Programmers) in enhancing the existing system relative to property accountability and monitoring 10. Ensure efficiency in the delivery of the Division's services pertaining to property accountability and monitoring 11. Ensure compliance with internal and external reportorial requirements 12. Attend meetings/represent the Division in different Committees, as may be assigned 13. Perform related tasks that may be assigned from time to time. | |||
