JOB DESCRIPTION Under general supervision, performs supervisory, technical, and support functions of Logistics Management Division (LMD) and does other related works. | |||
Functions and Responsibilities: | |||
1. Provide technical support to the Logistics Management Head in monitoring LMD activities in each respective section. 2. In charge of managing inventory on the assigned warehouse. Specially Receipt of goods upon delivery. 3. Conduct of regular inspection of inventory and warehouse. 4. Ensure warehouse standards are being implemented (tagging of inventory) 5. Monitors age of inventory and reports its status as reference for inspection prior to lapse of warranty period. 6. Conduct perpetual inventory count and reconcile balances. 7. Assist in the repacking and pre-work activities of relief goods for stockpile and augmentation 8. Maintain records of inventory including the reports on defective, damage or missing goods and update regularly. 9. File records that support daily transactions of the assigned warehouse. 10. Prepares memorandum/ proposal/ TOR and other correspondents of LMD 11. Develop and recommend improved warehousing and logistics plans/ packing and repacking of FFPs layout/donation facilitation systems/finance and quality control procedures and volunteers assistance processes. 12. Monitor the implementation of the approved storage and delivery schedule plans. 13. Monitor the submission of warehouse inventory reports, tally reports, notations of commodity movement activity in the production warehouse registers, stock and bin cards, quality control checks, among others. 14. Provide technical and consultative services to DSWD Field Offices, SWADAs and stakeholders/partners related to warehousing and logistics management/production of FFPs/internal control policies and standards implementation/ donation facilitation process and volunteers assistance procedures. 15. Prepare reportorial requirements on warehousing and logistics for the DSWD EXECOM/MANCON and oversight agencies. 16. Reviews/ recommends the development and enhancement of policies / guidelines / systems / procedures of NRLMB 17. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time. | |||
