JOB DESCRIPTION

The Administrative Officer III leads and supervises the Asset Management Unit in ensuring the efficient, compliant and accountable management of government assets, inventory, supplies, and facilities. Provides technical support on asset management operations, oversees inventory and property accountability, supports procurement and disposal activities, and ensures the effective implementation of asset management policies, systems, and procedures.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Act as the Unit Head of the Asset Management Unit

2. Provide Technical Support to the RAMS Section Head and RMD Division Chief

3. Prepares memorandum/proposal/TOR and other correspondences related to the activities/operations of the Section or Division

4. Act as permanent Designated Property and Supply Custodian (DPSC's)

5. Monitor movements of PPE and prepare semi-annual PPE inventory report

6. General supervision of all administrative and technical activities of the Asset Management Unit

7. Review monthly reports on the repair and maintenance of facilities (buildings and grounds) and Property, Plant, and Equipment (PPE)

8. Supervise the requisition of office and production supplies

9. Review inventory system-generated reports and consolidate inventory records of welfare goods across all DSWD warehouses, along with other related reports

10. Provide technical assistance to Field Offices on the implementation and application of the inventory system's MOP/SOP

11. Checking of RSMI of Disaster Resource Centers (DRCs)

12. Assist in the procurement for the repairs and maintenance for buildings and grounds, and PPEs

13. Supervise and monitor the request for disposal of scraps and PPEs of the bureau

14. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the supervisors.

7. Performance Rating in the last semestral/probationary rating period or its equivalent, as may be applicable.

(i) Applicants from public sectors outside DSWD Central Office: If vying for promotion or transfer, a performance rating of at least Very Satisfactory in the last semestral/probationary rating period prior the date of assessment or screening is required.
