JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the general supervision and direction of the Division Chief/Section Head, the Administrative Officer (AO) II shall perform a variety of technical and administrative support to assessment, certification and accreditation operations. The AO II is required to have a higher level of expertise to manage processes with assistance, analyze data, and provide strategic support along with accreditation, certification, and program recognition and other related tasks as may be assigned.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Assists in the planning and coordination of activities related to accrediting Learning Service Providers within the Academy based on required standards

2. Provide support in the certification and accreditation process of competency-certified SWD Professionals, and learning service providers

3. Maintain and manage accurate records of accreditation processes, certification results, and program recognitions

4. Prepares feedback reports, updates, minutes of the meetings, memoranda and other office communications or special reports, as assigned

5. Undertakes complete staff work and provides evaluation, technical inputs/recommendations on received documents in accordance to existing rules, policies, and parameters set by the agency

6. Facilitate and/or assist in the development/implementation/administration of programs, activities, processes and mechanism, meetings/sessions/workshop in relation to assessment, certification and accreditation operations

7. Develop education and communication materials of the DSWD Academy

8. Prepare presentation materials of the Division

9. Prepare annual/batch schedules, rooming plans, travel orders, and venue bookings (including virtual rooms)

10. Coordinate with partners for follow through actions of the DSWD Academy

11. Manage and secure databases and records of the Division

12. Facilitate financial liquidations and expense monitoring for activities and other logistics required in the operation

13. Performs other tasks as may be required by the Division Chief.
