As Performance and Reliability Management Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end governance and management of all activities during the contractual Defects Notification Period for completed and operational generating plants. The role ensures that each plant performs in accordance with the EPC Contract, Employer's Requirements (ER), approved design, contractual guarantees, applicable standards, and outstanding completion obligations. The PRM Manager leads the identification, notification, investigation, commercial and contractual resolution, rectification, verification, and close-out of workmanship-related defects, including the completion and formal closure of outstanding punch-list items transferred from Project Execution. The role directly manages EPC and OEM engagements, DNP budgets, claims, procurement, records, guarantee performance testing, technical acceptance, plant baselining, project close-out, and reporting to the DNP Committee. The PRM Manager is also accountable for completing the final turnover of the plant from Project Development and Execution (PDE) to the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team and securing O&M's formal acceptance once all agreed turnover, contractual, technical, documentation, and readiness requirements have been satisfied. Routine preventive maintenance and non-workmanship operational defects remain under the accountability of the O&M team and contribute directly to transforming energy for a better world. You will work closely with internal and external teams to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

1. DNP Strategy, Governance, and Leadership

• Develop and implement the DNP strategy, governance framework, management plan, controls, escalation paths, and plant-specific close-out roadmaps.
• Lead the PRM Coordinator, Cost Analyst, Document Controller, Inspector, and Testing and Analytics Team, with clear accountabilities, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Report plant performance, defects, punch items, claims, budget, risks, decisions required, and Final Acceptance readiness to the PRM Committee and PDE executives.
• Maintain clear accountability boundaries and coordination protocols between the PRM Team, Project Execution, O&M, Engineering, and other support functions.

2. Contract Compliance, Warranty, and Commercial Management

• Administer the EPC Contract, Employer's Requirements, guarantees, warranties, acceptance criteria, securities, insurance claim requirements, and other DNP obligations.
• Lead EPC and OEM engagements, contractual notices, warranty enforcement, claims, commercial negotiations, settlements, cost recovery, back-charges, and applicable contractual remedies.
• Manage the DNP budget, forecasts, commitments, actual costs, contingencies, recoverable costs, and commercial exposure across the plant portfolio.
• Supervise EPC and OEM procurement and commercial evaluation of equipment, replacement parts, testing services, consultants, contractors, and specialist services required during DNP.
• Ensure the Contract closure of the project in coordination with PRM Coordinator and CCCM.

3. Defect and Punch-List Close-Out

• Ensure plant issues are assessed and classified as workmanship defects, design deficiencies, equipment warranty matters, latent defects, incomplete works, execution punch items, or routine O&M matters.
• Direct the timely issuance, tracking, escalation, verification, and formal closure of Defect Notification Forms and outstanding punch-list items transferred from Project Execution.
• Require and review root-cause analyses, corrective-action plans, repair procedures, technical submissions, schedules, and completion evidence from the responsible EPC, OEM, or supplier.
• Lead inspections, testing, monitoring, and document reviews to confirm corrective works are safe, durable, compliant, and technically acceptable before closure.
• Manage aging, risk, priority, recurrence, due dates, and escalation of critical, repeated, generation-impacting, safety-related, or commercially material defects and punch items.
• Manage the development of plant risk baseline prior to turnover to O&M.

4. Plant Performance, Testing, and Technical Acceptance

• Verify plant performance against the EPC Contract, Employer's Requirements, approved design, applicable standards, and contractual guarantees.
• Lead or govern performance tests, reliability runs, retests, technical investigations, performance baselining, data validation, and independent verification.
• Ensure the evaluation ofe performance shortfalls, loss audit, technical deviations, defect history, and completion evidence and recommend corrective action, commercial resolution, conditional acceptance, or rejection.
• Coordinate with Engineering on complex technical matters and ensure validated lessons learned are incorporated into future designs, standards, Employer's Requirements, and EPC contract templates.
• 5. DNP Records, Reporting, and Assurance
• Ensure complete, accurate, traceable, and controlled records for DNFs, punch items, notices, correspondence, inspections, test reports, corrective actions, costs, claims, warranties, and closure evidence.
• Maintain DNP registers, dashboards, trackers, document repositories, performance records, and management reports as the approved source of status and decision information.
• Ensure contractual communications and reservations of rights are issued within required periods and through approved channels with sufficient supporting evidence.
• Support audits, management reviews, due diligence, insurance requirements, and governance checks, and ensure identified findings are addressed.

6. Project Close-Out, Final Acceptance, and O&M Turnover

• Support Project Close-Out and DNP handover by contributing DNP-related inputs, reviewing and accepting the required records and outstanding obligations from Project Execution, clarifying responsibilities with O&M, and maintaining the DNP handover register.
• Establish and lead the DNP close-out plan, schedule, responsibility matrix, closure criteria, and coordination arrangements among the DNP Team, O&M, Engineering, the EPC, OEMs, and other stakeholders.
• Confirm the closure or approved contractual disposition of all DNFs, workmanship-related defects, transferred punch items, performance shortfalls, claims, corrective actions, and other obligations required to complete the DNP.
• Prepare the formal DNP Close-Out Report summarizing plant performance against contractual guarantees, defect and punch-item closure, warranty and claim status, unresolved or surviving obligations, commercial reservations, lessons learned, and the basis for recommending Final Acceptance.
• Obtain O&M's review, acknowledgement, and signature on the DNP Close-Out Report to confirm completion of the DNP, acceptance of the plant's post-DNP condition, and transfer of continuing operational responsibility, without releasing the EPC, OEMs, or suppliers from remaining contractual obligations.
• Contribute in the improvement of Employer's Requirement by embedding lessons learned during tender document review sessions. Coordinate with the Project Execution Process Development for process changes, streamlining, and data processing automation.

7. Other Tasks

• Perform other duties reasonably assigned by the Project Control and Governance Head or PRM Committee in support of plant performance, contractual compliance, project close-out, and organizational objectives.

Contract, Commercial, Cost, and Procurement Management

• Able to interpret and administer EPC contracts, Employer's Requirements, guarantees, warranties, notices, claims, remedies, securities, budgets, recoveries, back-charges, commercial settlements, and DNP-related procurement while protecting the company's contractual and financial position.

Defect, Warranty, and Close-Out Management

• Able to govern workmanship defects, warranty matters, Defect Notification Forms, and execution punch-list items from identification and classification through root-cause analysis, corrective action, inspection, verification, cost recovery, escalation, and formal closure.

Plant Performance, Testing, Acceptance, and Turnover

• Able to evaluate plant performance against contractual guarantees and technical requirements; lead performance testing and technical acceptance; assess Final Acceptance readiness; and govern final plant turnover from PDE and documented acceptance by O&M.

Document Control, Reporting, Assurance, and Lessons Learned

• Able to maintain complete and auditable DNP records, contractual notices, dashboards, registers, and management reports; support assurance activities; and translate technical and commercial lessons learned into improvements for future projects, Employer's Requirements, standards, and contract templates.

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• Licensed engineer or equivalent professional registration, where applicable.
• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in power generation, renewable energy, EPC project execution, commissioning, plant performance, contract administration, warranty management, or asset close-out.
• Demonstrated experience managing EPC contractors, technical defects, contractual obligations, commercial issues, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong working knowledge of EPC contracts, Employer's Requirements, defect liability and warranty provisions, claims, testing, acceptance, and project close-out.
• Proven ability to interpret technical and commercial information, make risk-based decisions, and communicate effectively with executives and external counterparties.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, planning, financial management, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Postgraduate degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), contract management, claims, commercial management, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with solar, wind, battery energy storage, hydro, or other utility-scale generating assets.
• Experience in performance testing, data analytics, root-cause analysis, reliability engineering, and technical due diligence.
• Knowledge of Procore or comparable EDMS/PMIS platforms, dashboard tools, and structured defect or warranty management systems.
